Husband of Josephine "Jozefa"(Krzysiak) Drozdowicz (1894-1947). Joe was the father of five boys and two girls. Two of Joseph's children died as infants. All four of his sons, Rudy, Eddie, Teddy and Eugene, were veterans of WWII. Joe was the grandfather of nine grandchildren. Joe married Josephine Krzysiak on August 22, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of Jan Ewangelista Drozdowicz and Anna (Polonczyk) Drozdowicz Krzysiak of Dobczyce, Poland and brother of Frank Drozdowicz (1895-1950)and Magdalena Drozdowicz (b.1886). Joseph had been the treasurer of the Klub Miasta Dobczyce in Chicago, a social club for people who had immigrated to the Chicago area from Dobczyce, Poland.
