Other than his widow, survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Betty A. Flythe of Conway, Mrs. Annette A. Turner of Kill Devil Hills, Mrs. Mildred A. DeCosi of Norfolk, VA, and Mrs. Vivian A. Robins of Clearwater, FL; a son, Carlton Allen of Conway; eight stepchildren, William Hasty, Rommie Hasty, Mrs. Ethel Creech, and Mrs. Barbara Jilcott, all of Seaboard, David Hasty of Conway, Randolph Hasty of Heartford City, MD, Mrs. Mary Fillingame of Vanceboro, and Ernest Hasty of Columbia City, IN; 31 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Galatia Baptist Church by the Rev. Lonnie R. Armstrong. Burial was in Conway Cemetery.
