Mrs. Sipe Died Last Wednesday.
Mrs. Amanda J. Sipe, wife of Peter Sipe, departed this life last Wednesday evening, aged 56 years, at her late home near Anderson. Mrs. Sipe lingered many months with cancer, suffering untold agony, but bearing it all patiently until death came to relieve her. The funeral took place from the home of the deceased and the services were conducted by the Rev. B. A. Karicofe. The interment was at Shutterlee's burying ground. The following persons acted as pallbearers: John W. Spencer, J. H. Howdyshell, F. P. Cox, C. A. Anderson, H. M. Spencer and John A. Anderson. Mrs. Sipe is sur vived by her husband and several children.
