She was born Oct. 4, 1922, in Omaha, Neb., to Anna Alberta (Mobley) Wilburn and Tillman H. Wilburn.
Mary graduated from Grand Prairie Texas High School and from Rutherford Metropolitan Business College in Dallas and worked several years for Rutherford Calculating Services in Dallas.
She married Norman Bagwell in Wichita Falls, Texas, on Dec. 14, 1969. She loved the outdoors and horses and spent her younger years riding and training quarter horses.
After Norman's retirement from Halliburton, they bought the family farm in the Warren community where they had cattle and she raised and trained paint horses.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband Norman of the home; son, Gary Wade of Crandall, Texas; daughter, Norma Kay Wood of Austin, Texas; stepbrother, Chester of Covington, Texas; stepsister, Goldene of Arlington, Texas; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services are set for Monday at 10 a.m. at People's Funeral Chapel in Lone Wolf officiated by Larry Sparks. Burial will be at the Warren Cemetery under the direction of People's Co-operative Funeral Home.
