DEATH: JEAN HATCH ALBRAND
Jean Maria Hatch Albrand, age 97, passed away on June 30, 1990 in Porterville, California.
Born July 5, 1892 in Scipio, Utah a daughter of William Ira and Margaret (Maggie) Muir Hatch. She married William Cecil Albrand on June 16, 1915 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died December 30, 1975. They honeymooned in Scipio, then lived there 32 years. Their remaining years were spent in Salt Lake City. She was active in the LDS Church, serving many years in the Relief Society organinzation. Member of D.U.P., Camp Springview. She spent many years serving and caring for others. She is survived by two sons, Steven Muir Albrand, Phoenix, Arizona; John Ross Albrand, Salt Lake City; one daughter and one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Charles (Margaret) Morgan, Strathmore, California and Maxine Albrand, Salt Lake City; 20 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 6 great great-granddaughters, one sister, Mrs. George (Beth) Hibler, Bountiful, Utah. Preceded in death by three sons, Preston, Robert and William Wallace (Wally) Albrand.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., July 9, 1990 in the Grant 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, 711 E. Jepson Ave. (3225 So.) Friends may call at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 So. Highland Drive on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the Church on Saturday one hour prior to services.
Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
