Graveside services for Avon M. French, of Eightmile, Ala., are 3 p.m. today, Dec. 14 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Natchez. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. French, 76, died Dec. 12, 2005, in Saraland, Ala. She was born in Carson on Feb. 10, 1929, to Avon McCrimmon and Lougenia Gamble McCrimmon Loftin.

She was retired from Ketchings Printing Co. in Natchez. She attended LaFitte Baptist Church in Saraland. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, John Duncan French.

Survivors are her sister, Shirley Sutter, of Pascagoula; and her brother, Cyril Loftin, of Mobile.
