Obituary: Jasper F. Coffman, 51 years old 1430 St. Paul Street, an Army veteran of World War II, died yesterday in West 10th Street Veterans Administration Hospital. Born at North Vernon, he had lived in Indianapolis most of his life. He was a driver for Coffman Trucking Company. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in J. C. Wilson Chapel of the Chimes. Burial will be in New Crown Cemetery. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Jonell Coffman; the mother; Mrs. Maggie M. Coffman of Bowling Green, Ky.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Brenda Myers of Indianapolis; eight sisters, Mrs. Hazel Brown, Mrs. Myrtle Poole, Mrs. Alberta Parker, Mr. Katherine Robey, Mrs. Mildred Jackson and Mrs. Florence Rose, all of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Rose Millay of Norwalk, Calif., and Mrs. Margaret Wright of North Vernon; and two brothers, Albert and Harlan Coffman, both of Indianapolis.
