Aubrey L. Varnum, age 72 of Oxford, passed away Friday, October 06, 2006. Born to R.O. and Ruby(Peavy)Varnum- Steffens. He resided in Florida all his life and was a retired truck driver and certified welder. And an avid outdoorsman, he also was an Army veteran serving in Korea and Vietnam. He was of Pentecostal Faith. He was preceded in death by his mother Ruby Steffens, Aubrey Lee Varnum Jr., Gwen Payne and Lucille Smith. His survivors are his wife Gwendolyn, son, Wayne Varnum of Lake City, daughters, Lisa Varnum of Lake City, Dona Varnum, of Sunset Harbor, Jesse Fosbinder of Orlando, Julie Varnum, Oxford, and Crickett Varnum of Wildwood. Brothers R.O. Varnum Jr. of Leesburg and Kenneth Varnum of Bushnell. Also 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday Oct. 9, from 6-8 PM at the Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be Tue. Oct. 10, at 11AM at the Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Chapel, with Interment
