The death of Mrs. Alice Craft, 83, occurred Saturday morning at 12:20 o'clock in her home, 574 West Hill Street, after being ill for one month following a stroke.
Mrs. Craft was born in Wabash county April 4, 1861 to James and Mary C. (Lowman) Sweetser. She was married to John R. Craft in 1882. Mr. Craft preceded her in death several years ago.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. P.F. Carmody, with whom she lived, one son, Otto Craft, Wabash, one sister, Mrs. Delight I. Lawshe, Huntington Beach, Calif., five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Craft was a member of the Christian church.
Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock in the Jones Funeral home with the Rev. Elwood Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Falls cemetery. The body has been moved to the Jones Funeral home where friends may call.
