HAPPY - Doll Bragg Edmonds, 92, died Friday, Jan. 9, 1998.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Brooks Funeral Directors Chapel in Happy with Jim Currie, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Crowell, officiating. Burial will be in Happy Cemetery.

Mrs. Edmonds was born in Memphis. She graduated from Floydada High School in 1923 and received her teacher's certification from West Texas Teachers College in Canyon. Before her marriage, she taught at Ralph Switch School and the Edmonds School.

She lived in Roosevelt County, N.M. until 1944 then returned to Happy. She taught in the Happy Elementary School and later had a private kindergarten. She also helped her husband with their cattle business until his death. She was a member of Eastern Star, Cowbells and the Ester Sunday School Class in the Baptist church.

She married George Edmonds in 1929. He died in 1987.Survivors include a son, Elmo Edmonds of Lamesa; a daughter, Moly Sue Cawthon of Canyon; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-greatgrandchildren.The family requests memorials be to Happy Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 216, Happy, Texas, 79042 or Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson, Amarillo, Texas 79101 or a favorite charity.

The body will be available for viewing today at Brooks Funeral Directors in Canyon and at Brooks Funeral Directors in Happy on Monday until service time.
