Obituary: DECATUR DAILY
BELOVED GIRL PASSES AWAY-

Mrs. Roy B. Odom, 30, injured seriously on November 8th, 1936, in an automobile accident, passed away at 3:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at her home in Austinville. The death of the beloved young woman followed months of suffering and a brave fight to win her way back to health. She had suffered a broken back in the accident, which eventually took her life.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock at the Central Methodist Church, Rev. Ira F. Hawkins being assisted by the Rev. Carpenter, of Austinville Methodist, in conducting the services. The cortege will leave the home at 2:30 o'clock for the church.

Interment will be made in City Cemetery, Brown directing.

Pallbearers will be C.C. Berryhill, Grady Simpson, Rufus Warren, Otto Nebrig, Louis Bell and Emmett McClary.

The beloved young woman is survived by her husband; a daughter, Carolyn Sue; her mother, Mrs. Emma Sparkman and a brother, Maurice Sparkman.
