Louise J. Amalong

Louise J. Amalong, 81, of Greensburg, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 1997, in Greensburg. She was born Sept. 22, 1915, in Grafton, W.Va., and was the daughter of Carl E. and Nell M. Johnson. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry S. Amalong, to whom she was married for 50 years; a brother, John W. Johnson; and three sisters, Dorothy A., Mildred A., and Lois J. Johnson. She is survived by her two sons, Thomas H. Amalong of Cockeysville, Md., and William D. Amalong of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a daughter, Aleta A. Wojtaszek of Greensburg; a brother, Carl W. Johnson; a sister, Mrs. John (Mary) Templeton, all of Greensburg; and four grandchildren, Kyle and Lucy Wojtaszek and John and Stephen Amalong. Family and friends will be received Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. Services will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Robert S. McKie officiating. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
