Kay Barrow of Terrell passed away on July 22, 2009. She was born on April 28, 1945, to the late Dr. Ray A. and Wilma Matthews Chatelain in Port Sulphur, La.

Kay was a member of the First Baptist Church of Terrell. She worked with the Terrell ISD for over 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, walking, going to church, shopping and helping others.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ray A. Chatelain Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Richard Barrow; sons, Dewayne Barrow and wife Adrienne, Brian Barrow and wife Lori; granddaughters Madison and Charlotte Barrow; sister, Wilma Elder and husband Buddy; brother-in-law and sister-in-law J. W. and Ann Barrow; niece and nephews Michelle Findley, Michael R. Lane and Kyle Barrow.

Services were held on Friday, July 24, 2009 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Chapel with Rev. John Lowrie officiating. Interment followed at College Mound Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church ROC Building Fund, 403 North Catherine; Terrell, Texas 75160.
