Augusta Chronicle, issue of 6 November 1998: SYLVANIA, Ga. -- Mrs. Annette Ward Bazemore, 58, of 2999 Pine Grove Inn Road, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998, at her residence. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home with the Revs. Pete Wall and Henry Bazemore Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Bazemore, a native of Candler County, was a homemaker. She was a member of Black Creek United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Nelson Bazemore; three daughters, Marcena Lee, Sylvania, Amelia B. Nelson, Charleston, S.C., Delia B. Kucharski, Mount Pleasant; one stepdaughter, Gail B. Mincey, Greenville, S.C.; her father, William Lewis Ward, Metter; her mother, Mary Nesmith Ward, Statesboro; two brothers, Jimmy Ward, Statesboro, and William Ward; and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Ryan Lee, John Kucharski, Andy Harrison, Jason Mincey, Jerry Lee and Steve Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
