Mrs. Frank H. Hartman, of Brookhaven, the former Elizabeth Bacon, died early this morning in a Fort Walton, Fla. Hospital. For the past several years Mrs. Hartman and her daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Bowers, had made their home in Brookhaven part of the year and in Fort Walton.
A native of the Canton, Miss. Area, Mrs. Hartman, 79, had resided in Brookhaven 30 years or more. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Bowers; her son, Ellis R. (Sonny) Passmore of Brookhaven; a brother, John H. Bacon of Canton; a sister, Mrs. Ola Pinkston, Vicksburg; five grandchildren, Ellis R. (Rusty) Passmore, III, Brookhaven, Mark Passmore and Elizabeth Passmore, Columbia, Miss., Barbara Bassinger and Tom Bowers.
Services for Mrs. Hartman will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from Hartman-Henderson Funeral Home Chapel in Brookhaven with burial in Rosehill Cemetery.
Mr. Passmore and Mrs. Bowers, who were in Fort Walton with their mother, are expected to return to Brookhaven today.

Services for Mrs. Frank H. Hartman, the former Elizabeth Bacon, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from Hartman-Henderson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Monsignor Michael Glynn, pastor of Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, will conduct the service. A Rosary service will be held tonight at seven o'clock at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hartman, a native of the Canton, Miss. Area and resident of Brookhaven many years, would have observed her 79th birthday March 16.
Active pallbearers will include James F. Robinson of Jackson, Frank McGehee of Natchez, Gerald Kees, Raymond O. Cohen, Dr. Jim Barnett and George Jordan of Brookhaven.
