She was born in Worcester, daughter of Fulton and Evelyn (Warren) Bakstran. She attended Quinsigamond Community College.
Her husband Robert H. Burke died in 2005. She leaves five children, Dennis Lee Burke of Colo., Suzanne Morvan of South Carolina, Dianne Barnes of Ariz., Robert Warren Burke and Ronald Kenneth Burke, both of Worcester; three brothers, Kenneth and Ronald Bakstran, both of Worcester, and Warren Bakstran of Fla.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Beverly was a blessing to her family who loved her greatly and who will miss her loving presence.
A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 25 in the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester.
