Marie Cora Aubuchon of Tiff, Missouri was born Saturday, November 26, 1921 in Tiff, Missouri a daughter of the late Mary Cora (Courtaway) Coleman and Frank Coleman. Marie departed this life on Friday, January 5, 2007 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital at the age of Eighty-five years, One month and Ten days.
Marie was united in Holy Matrimony to Howard J. Aubuchon October 25, 1941. They were blessed to have eight children born to the union.
Marie is survived by her loving and devoted husband of over Sixty-five years, Howard Aubuchon of Tiff, Missouri, Six daughters, Elaine Ginger and husband Gail of Tiff, Missouri, Brenda McGlothlin of Tiff, Missouri, Gail White of Morse Mill, Missouri, Patricia Reed of Hillsboro, Missouri, Rita Allen and husband Roger of Crestwood, Missouri, Angela Govero and husband Curtis of Tiff, Missouri, two sons, Philip Aubuchon of Cadet, Missouri, Bruce Aubuchon and wife Charlotte of Tiff, Missouri, Eighteen grandchildren, Twenty-two great grandchildren and by many other dear and special relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Lillie Valle, Alma Aubuchon, Bernice Bourbon, two brothers, Linnius Coleman and Melvin Coleman.
Marie had a great love for her Lord and Savior and was a dedicated member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiff, Missouri.
Marie was a loving and devoted wife and mother, she loved to cook and spend time with her family and enjoyed spoiling all the babies. She enjoyed spending time working in the garden and growing flowers. She would relax reading or just spending time talking. Marie loved to play cards and enjoyed spending time looking for and collecting antiques.
Visitation was held Sunday January 7, 2007 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Monday January 8, 2007 from 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at the Moore Funeral Homes, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated Monday January 7, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiff, Missouri with Father Ted Piper celebrating.
Final Prayers and Burial was in the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Tiff, Missouri. Serving as Pallbearers were: Matt White, Scott McGlothlin, Nick Allen, Patrick Aubuchon, Josh Aubuchon, and Tracy Aubuchon. Following all services family and friends returned to The Knights of Columbus Hall, Old Mines, Missouri where a luncheon was provided by the St. Joseph, St. Joachim Church Parish's and The Knights of Columbus.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of The Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street Potosi, Missouri.
