VICTIM OF TRUCK ACCIDENT WILL BE BURIED TOMORROW
Funeral of Harry Junkins, Killed Saturday, to Be Held at Seward
SEWARD, Dec. 9 - Funeral services for Harry Junkins, 53, of Seward, who was fatally injured Saturday morning when he was thrown from a coal truck near West Fairfield, will be held at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning at the home of his sister, Mrs. John Cramer, in Seward. Burial will be in a cemetery at Marion Center in charge of H. Clifford Clark, Seward mortician. The coal truck skidded and struck an enbankment, hurling Mr. Junkins to the ground. The victim suffered multiple fractures of the pelvis and extreme shock. Admitted to Lee Hospital, Johnstown, at 11:15 a.m., he died three hours later at 2:15 p.m. Cyrus W. Davis, Cambria County coronor, viewed the body and forwarded a report to Dr. H.A. McMurray, coroner of Westmoreland County. An inquest was regarded as likely. John Hill of Seward was reported to have been driving the truck. Neither Hill nor his father, Edward Hill, who was riding on the truck was injured. Harry Junkins operated a farm near Marion Center for a number of years. He sold the property about a year ago and moved to Seward to make his home with his sister. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Cramer and Mrs. Laura Murray of Altoona, and one brother, John S. Junkins of Ocala, Fla.
