Obit:- Clark L. Branning, 43 Prospect Street Honesdale, PA, died Wednesday Dec. 19, 1984 at the Wayne County Memorial Hospital following an illness. Born in Duck Harbor, PA, he was a son of the late Jackson and Elsie Dailey Branning, and was a woodsman by trade. March 31, 1983, Mr. Branning celebrated his 100th birthday. Surviving are his wife, the former Ruth Hicks; one daughter, Mrs. Grant (Florence) Brown, Richmondville, NY; two step-sons, Allen Racht, Honesdale and Gary Racht, Honesdale; one step-daughter, Mrs. Clayton (Elloris) Burdick, both Gibson; one great -granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. Following cremation in Wilkes Barre, a memorial service will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Hessling Funeral Home, 428 Main Street, Honesdale,PA.
