ROBERT COCKE, 80, died at his home on Monday, May 22, 2006, at 7:55 a.m. following a long illness. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Katey Cocke Worrell, and is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marian Justice Cocke. Mr. Cocke graduated from Clarksdale High School in Clarksdale, MS, and attended Morehead Jr. College in Morehead, MS. He served as a control tower operator during WWII and retired from Goldsmiths Department Store. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his Aunt, Ann Cocke Hooser of Memphis; his sister-in-law, Catherine Justice VonderHoya of Dallas, and June Cocke; his nieces, Carol Cocke Todd of North Carolina, and Sally VonderHoya; nephew, John VonderHoya of Dallas and his nieces, Susan Justice Bowles and Jill Justice Odum of MS along with a host of relatives and friends and his acquired family Joe and Beverly Michalek along with his grandchildren, Joe, Chris, and Heather Michalek. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, at Memorial Park Funeral Home with funeral services to be held at Lindenwood Christian Church on Wednesday, May 24, at 2 p.m. with interment in Forest Hill Cemetery-Midtown.
