Joseph Morris Addy
Rev. Warren Hedgepeth officiated at funeral services for Mr. Joseph Morris Addy, 86, resident of Decatur, who died Thursday, July 29, 1999 at Riley Memorial Hospital in Meridian. Services were held July 30 at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel in Union. Burial took place in the Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery, Union.
The retired butane gas salesman was preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah Ruth Addy. His survivors include his wife, Etoile Dearing of Union; three sons, James Addy of Brandon, Jerry Addy of Oxford and Larry Addy of Union; one step-son, Doyle Wolverton of Carthage; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and one brother, Alton Addy of Mobile, Alabama.
