==========
Mount Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church Record - May 24, 1924:

"Recorded the death of Deacon W. H. Howell, which occurred May 18, 1924. Appointed Brethren J.T. Satterwhite and W. W. Smith to draw up resolution for our deceased Deacon and Brother to be read at next conference."

Resolutions for our Brother and Deacon, W. H. Howell.
Whereas it has pleased our Heavenly Father to remove from earth to glory our much beloved and highly esteemed brother Deacon W. H. Howell, and whereas it is the custom of this church to give space in her record for resolutions, touching her officers, be it therefore resolved that we do hereby express our deep sorrow for the loss of this good man and that we do most keenly realize now what he was to us, and to the great cause of truth he loved so well. Be it further resolved that we freely submit to the disposition of our God in this sad moment knowing that He is too wise to err, and too good to be unkind. Resolved also that we express to his bereaved family our sympathy and great interest and pray the blessings of Heaven to rest upon them, Done by order of the church in conference. July 6, 1924
