Arletta Francelia Hawver was born 1851 and grew up first in Jefferson Co. New York and later in Watertown New York. She married James Percival Davenport on Nov. 15, 1871 in Watertown and then moved to San Francisco and later Los Angeles.
They had three girls: Ada May, Edna Clara (my grandmother) and Ethel Vere. She died on August 12, 1913 in Los Angeles and is buried next to her husband, her parents and her brother Harvey in the Davenport family plot in Rosedale Cemetery, Los Angeles, California.
