Horman, Dorothy
Dorothy Laufer Horman 83, of New Palestine, passed away on July 11, 2009.
Dorothy was a graduate of New Palestine High School. She enjoyed gardening, baking, and being a historian. Dorothy also liked being a conversationist. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of New Palestine.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Ernest E. Horman; sons, Wayne Allen Horman (Lynn) and Paul Raymond Horman; sister, Martha Shore (Don); brothers, Erwin Laufer (Pat) and Norman Laufer; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Clarence and Anna Noelting Laufer; and sister, Emma Pauline Laufer.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 15 at Zion Lutheran Church of New Palestine with visitation there from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Hendryx Mortuary.
