He was born in 1916 on Staten Island, N.Y., and educated in New York.
He worked for Bethlehem Steel before moving to Oregon in 1947.
Mr. Adamo worked for Pacific Power & Light Co. for more than 30 years until he became ill and retired.
He was active for many years as a Mason. He was a member of the Lions Club and Eastern Star. He was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl; daughters, Barbara Becerra, Klamath Falls, and Judy Kragaris, Portland; granddaughters, Renee Delgadillo, Klamath Falls, and Penny Kragaris, Portland; grandsons Labis Kragaris and Robert David, both Portland, Bill DuBois, Fort Meade, Md., Joseph DuBois, Chiloquin, and Mike Chamerblen, Klamath Falls; sister, Marion Camacho, Toms River, N.J.; brothers, Henry Adamo, Baltimore, Md, and George Adamo, New Jersey; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
