Donna Kay Bower passed on March 9, 1997 at St. Anthony's Hospital, Denver, Colorado of Viral Pneumonia.
She was born July 19, 1949 in Denver, Colorado. Donna and her sister, Diane, were adopted as infants by Kenneth Merle and Vivian June (Clark) Griswold.
Donna was an insulin dependent diabetic, and was also the recipient of organ transplants of kidney and pancreas.
She graduated in 1967 from Westminster High School, Westminster, CO; She also graduated from Orchid Beauty Academy, Denver, CO.
She was a hairdresser.
Survivors include her husband, Jon Bower; two daughters, Jonna Denise (Bower) Herring of Westminster, CO, and Gina Diane Bower of Longmont, CO; two grandchildren, Christopher James "CJ" and Matthew Alexander Herring; step-children, Tammy Thornton of Thayer, KS, Cindy (Bower) Ohmart of New Hampshire, Lori (Bower) Whittley of Thayer, KS, and Jon D. Bower II of Chanute, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Diane.
