Christina Capodanno passed away Sept 20, 2004. She was born Feb 16, 1919 in San Pedro and was a lifetime resident. She was a member of the Italian Catholic Federation, the Better Half Club, and the Golden Circle Club. Survived by her husband Salvatore; sons Carmen (Barbara) Capodanno and Michael (Karin) Capodanno; daughter Marie Capodanno; sisters Manuella DiMeglio, Angie (Vince) Albano and Mary (Pat) DiBernardo; sister-in-law, Dorothy Esposito; grandchildren, Gina, Marissa, Kristen and Kaitlin Capodanno; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral mass will be offered Friday, 12 Noon at Mary Star of the Sea Church with interment to follow at Green Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mary Start High School Building Fund or Trinity Care Hospice, visitation will be on Thursday from 1:00 - 8:00 pm at McNerney's Mortuary
