Services for Mrs. Adilee Shelton Harris, 87, of Tioga were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Sardis Baptist Church at Verda with Rev. Ray Downy officiating. Burial was in Sardis Cemetery under direction of Edmonds, Jonesboro.
Mrs. Harris died Monday, August 22, 1977 in an Alexandria hospital after a long illness.
Survivors include one son, Lloyd Wolfe of Lexington, Tex., three daughters, Mrs. Edith Brown and Mrs. Sara Archibald, both of Houston, and Mrs. Marie Ely of Pasadena, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Cleola Davis and Mrs. Elvie Jowers, both of Montgomery, and Mrs. Pearl Chelette of Verda; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and six great [great] grandchildren.
