Claudia Lee Craig McNeal, 67, of Cross, SC, died June 30, 2007, in Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC.
Mrs. McNeal was the recipient of a double lung transplant, therefore, the family requests memorials be made to the American Lung Association, 1817 Gadsden St., Columbia, SC 29201.
Mrs. McNeal was born Dec. 1, 1939, in Spokane, WA, a daughter of Roland Earl Craig and Alta Mae Thew Craig. She was the widow of Thomas Charles Tom McNeal. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. McNeal was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Lee Akers.
Surviving are, a daughter, Connie Grooms, and her husband, Percy, of Cross; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
