Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Payne and Son Funeral Home for Edna A. Coit, 61, of Bakersfield, who died Sunday at a local hospital. Rev. Glenn D. Puder will officiate. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. She was a native of California and had lived in Bakersfield for 55 years. She was a member of Bakersfield Chapter No. 125 Order of Eastern Star and Insurance Women's Group of Bakersfield. Survivors include her husband, James B. Coit; daughter, Mrs. Jack G. Gray of Bakersfield; two brothers, Howard Whitaker of Yucaipa and Clifford C. Whitaker of Lancaster; and two grandchildren.
