Betty Lou Adkins was born July 8, 1935 and departed this life January 8, 2004 reaching the age of 68. She was the daughter of Raymond Sexton and Nell Brummett Sexton.
She was united in marriage to Herschel Adkins and to this union 2 children were born.
She is survived by one son – Bruce Adkins of Monticello; one daughter – Debbie Stinson of Monticello; two grandchildren – Chad and Sherri Adkins; three brothers – James "Pete" Sexton of Monticello, Bobby Sexton of North East, PA, Jesse Sexton of Ridgeville, IN; five sisters – Alice Mabe, Juanita Owens, Kathy Wallen, and Virginia Crabtree all of Monticello, and Anna Mae Godby of New Castle, IN, along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her mother – Nell Sexton, her step father – Raymond Sexton, three brothers – Frank, Fred and Raymond Sexton, and two sisters – Mary Kelly and Barbara Faye Sexton.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
