Odessa--A contemporary Christian song
" I Can Only Imagine" has a refrain in the
chorus that says" Surrounded by your
glory, what will my heart feel ? Will I dance
for you , Jesus, or in awe of you be still ?"
It is an absolute certainly that Joy is in
Heaven dancing for Jesus, since it was one
of her passions in this life.

Joy, as she was so appropriately named,
went to be with her Heavenly Father on
Thursday, March 15,2007 at 3:39 p.m.She
died at home, just as she wished, spending
her last moments with her loving husband,
Mike Agee, and an oldest daughter and son-
in-law, Cindy and Joe Harrington at her side.

One of the last voices she heard was her
daughter, Valerie, just an hour away from
Odessa after driving for nearly eight hours
from Lake Conroe, on the cell phone
unselfishly telling her, " Mom, you don't
have to wait for us to get there. It's okay
if you need to go on Home" That unselfish-
ness was something that Joy had passed
along to her children. It was one of so many
beautiful things Joy taught her three
children David, Cindy, and Valerie whom
she dearly loved.

Cindy and Valarie lived nearby to Joy for
a number of years and took loving care
of their mother. While Cindy remained
in Odessa and continued looking after
her, along with her adoring husband Mile.
Joy always looked forward with eager
anticipation to the phone calls and visits
from David in Colorado, and Valarie who
moved to Lake Conroe two years age.

which is a beautiful testament, to the type of
woman, she was, and her Love for God and her
family.)
