Maud was a caregiver for a neighbor lady. When my Dad and I moved from Milwaukie, Oregon to Eugene, Oregon in 1955 he needed someone to be there with me as he worked out of town
so much. Maud's lady passed away so she came to Eugene to
be with me. On Christmas Day 1958 Maud and my Dad were married.
Maud was first married to Oliver Garratt and had 5 children with him.
She was a good step-mother to me.,,
