FAIRMONT - Nina Baehman, age 98, died peacefully at Peabody Manor, Appleton, Wis., on Saturday, July 4, 2009. She was the mother of Ronda Cone and resided at Lutz Wing briefly in March 2007.
Survivors include Ronda and Jim Cone; two grandchildren: Pat and Wes Winnekins, Plymouth, Minn., and Dr. Steven and Lisa Cone, Winona, Minn.; six great grandchildren: Ross, Jacklyn and Karl Winnekins; Emma, Ryan and Madelyn Cone.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlyn of 46 years.
Nina was a gifted pianist and church organist.
Nina's Celebration of Life will be held on her birthday, Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Faith Lutheran Church, Appleton, Wisconsin.

(Timm) of Appleton WI, age 98, died peacefully at Peabody Manor on Saturday, July 4, 2009. She was born July 8, 1910 in the Town of Lind to Otto F. and Augusta (Strey) Timm. She was the first child baptized at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Weyauwega, WI. Nina attended Hatton School in the Town of Lind. On November 26, 1939 she married her husband of 46 years, Arlyn Baehman. He preceded her in death on March 20, 1986. After their marriage, the couple operated Maple Leaf Cheese Factory in Dale, WI. In 1947 they operated the Timm family farm in the town of Lind until 1960. They moved to Appleton where Nina was employed by Zwicker Knitting Mills for 15 years. Nina was a gifted pianist and organist at Emmaus Lutheran Church, Lind, playing for several funerals and weddings. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Appleton.
Nina is survived by her daughter: Ronda (James) Cone of Fairmont, MN; two grandchildren: Patricia (Wes) Winnekins of Plymouth, MN and Dr. Steven (Lisa) Cone of Winona, MN; six great-grandchildren: Ross, Jacklyn and Karl Winnekins; and Emma, Ryan and Madelyn Cone; sister: Anita Wagner of Waupaca; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlyn; her parents; an infant granddaughter; a brother, Oscar Timm; four sisters: Stella Winters, Ella Ehlke, Alma Stumpner and Dora Baehman.
Nina's celebration of life will be on her birthday at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 601 E. Glendale Ave., Appleton with Rev. James Wiebel officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the celebration. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega.
The family extends a special thank you to the nurses and nursing assistants at Cherry Meadows Hospice and Peabody Manor for their loving care over the past year and a special thank you is extended to Dr. Jack Anderson.
