Graveside services for Margaret Jane Allen will be held Thursday, July 9, 2009, at 10:30 a.m., at Toomsuba Church Cemetery, with Rev. George Mosely officiating. Burial will be in Toomsuba Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Ms. Allen, 65, of Toomsuba, died Saturday, July 4, 2009, at Regency Hospital. She was retired from Eastern Kentucky University. She was a member of Toomsuba Baptist Church. Ms. Allen had spent most of her life in Kentucky before moving back to Toomsuba. Survivors include a sister, June Allen Pegues and her husband, Jim of Hattiesburg; brother, Millard "Randy" Allen and his wife, Terry of Toomsuba; nieces and nephews, Jayna Robinson, Deanna Pharris, Dr. Grant Allen, Joie Brown, Susan Pegues, Allen Pegues; and, several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Lottie Allen; sister, Mildred Morgan; and, niece, Cary Marie Pegues. The family requests memorials be made to Hope Village for Children or Toomsuba Cemetery Fund. There will be no visitation.
