He was born in Caruthersville November 11, 1906, the son of Robert and Minnie Treece, and in Caruthersville, on November 17, 1924, he was married to Miss Daisy Cummings.
He moved to St. Louis 37 years ago and before retiring he was an employee of Crown Products Company.
He leaves two sons, Robert H. and Alton Treece of St. Louis; four daughters, Mrs. Virginia Starks of Mehlville, Mo., Mrs. Edith Vaughn of Osawatomie, Kans., Mrs. Pauline Robinson and Mrs. Catherine Winters of St. Louis; a sister, Mrs. Lillie Mitchell of Daly City, Calif.; a half-brother, Will Ray of Fowlkes, Tenn.; 30 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
