A. V. Acres, 75, passed away Thursday, September 30, 1965 in Louisville, Kentucky, after a short illness. He was a member of the Baptist Church and Oneida Lodge No. 695 F&AM. He is survived by his wife, Clara Acres, Louisville, Kentucky; 2 daughters, Mrs. Olga Goodwin, Los Angeles, California, Mrs. Doris Jean Jackson, Sacramento, California; 3 sons, John C. Acres, San Burno, California, Kern Acres, North Hollywood, California, Blaine Acres, Brazil, Indiana; 1 sister, Mrs. Maude Chitwood, Somerset, Kentucky; 13 grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, October 2, 1965 from the Graveside with Oneida Lodge NO. 695 F&AM in charge of services. Interment followed in the Litton Cemetery.
