Robert "Thumper" Collins, 44, Shawnee, died Sunday, Nov. 28 at a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at Bethel Cemetery, with Bill Matthews oficiating, under the direction of Roesch Funeral Chapel.
Collins was born July 23, 1949 in Mesa, Ariz., the son of Roy and Ruby Collins. He attended schools in Arizona before movign to Oklahoma in 1959. He continued his education at Cleveland, Blackburn and Shawnee.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Bledsoe, Shawnee; three step-children, Heather, Michael and Anna Langston, Shawnee; father, Roy Collins, Shawnee, mother Ruby Gremminger, Perry; two brothers, Roy Collins, Jr., Shawnee and Allen Collins, Perry; five sisters, Janey Horton, Mannford, Sarah Bussinger, Pawnee, Cahthy Hostetter, Pawnee, Fay Frick, Washington, Mary Knowles, Perry; and numerous other relatives.
