The former Sandra Malkowski was born the daughter of Bronislaw Malkowski and Mary H. (Oleski) Malkowski on August 12, 1938 in Forester, Michigan.
She was united in marriage to Jack C Chapman on June 14, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan. Sandra had worked as a bookkeeper in retail sales for many years. In her spare time, she was active with the Women of the Moose of Harrison where she served as Treasurer of the Women's Golf League. She was also a member of the Harrison Fraternal Order of Eastern Stars, the Harrison Michigan Loons Red Hat Society, the Long Lake Ladies Auxiliary, and the St. Athanasius Catholic Church of Harrison. She had lived in the Harrison area since May 12, 1995 where she had moved from Troy, Michigan.
Sandra Chapman was survived by her husband, Jack C Chapman of Harrison; her two sons, Jeffery Jay (Ailyn) Chapman of Rochester Hills, Michigan and Robert Allen (Julie) Chapman of Northville, Michigan; her daughters, Karen Denise Chapman and her husband, Michael Hawkins of Corunna, Michigan and Jacqueline Karol (Robert) Shea of Harrison Twp., Michigan; her brothers, Benjamin (Beulah) Malkowski of Lakeland, Michigan, David (Mary) Malkowski of Warren, Michigan, and Larry (Dolores) Malkowski of Grayling, Michigan; her sister, Marie (Amedeo) Castiglione of Central Lake, Michigan; her twelve grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Pauline Liput and her brother-in-law, Henry Liput.
