Mrs. Ora June Cummings, 82, of Caruthersville, died Nov. 30, 1991 in Stubtown. Born Dec. 24, 1908 in Wayne County, she was the daughter of Rufe and Mary Couch Eads. She attended Lake Creek Schools and operated the Cummings Grocery Store in Stubtown for many years. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Cummings, and three sons, Billy, Melvin and Jimmy Cummings.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dollie Harrison of Caruthersville; Two brothers, Asa and Bill Eads, both of Piedmont; Two sisters, Mrs. Amy Hast of Piedmont and Mrs. Ada Dees of Williamsville.
Thirteen grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren;
Services were Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. at First Christian Church, the Rev. Don Hargrave officiating, with burial in Maple Cemetery. H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville in charge.
