Wife of Former Congressman and Democratic Leader Dies

Marietta O., September 23-(AP) The body of Mrs. Charlotte White, wife of former congressman George White of Marietta, a leader in state Democratic politics, will be brought here for burial, it was announced today after news of her death at Atlantic City, where she had gone for treatment of an attack of asthma, reached here.

Mrs. White died suddenly there yesterday. She had been in ill health for some time. She married White in 1900. She was the daughter of David McKelvey, of Titusville, Pa., a former director of the Standard Oil Company. Mrs. White is survived by her husband, a son of David, of New York, two sons, George and Robert, attending Princeton University and two daughters, Mary, of New York, and Charlotte, of Marietta.
