CONWAY SPRINGS - Brenton W. Achelpohl, 86, Argonia, Kan., died Dec. 30, 1991, in a nursing home in Conway Springs. He was a lifelong Argonia resident. Mr. Achelpohl was a farmer before he retired. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Argonia, and the Argonia Lions Club. Survivors include his wife, Thelma Achelpohl of the home; a son, Clark Achelpohl, Kansas City; three daughters, Jan Swanson, Wichita, Jill Williams, Kansas City, and Brenda Hayden, Sterling, Kan.; seven grandchildren ; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church; burial in the Argonia Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the church.
