Married Sept 12, 1975Glenn Allen was born May 13, 1926 in Quinter, Kansas, son of Everett and Mary (Bunker) Allen. He passed away May 25, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Wellington, Kansas at the age of 88 years and 12 days.

Glenn served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Glenn married Bernita Nance. They raised three children: Monte, Pamela and Debbie.

In 1975, he married Louella Rogers and one more son, Eddie, was added to the family.

Glenn worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as a Bridge Inspector for many years until retiring. He loved trains. His home in Argonia was right by the train tracks so he could enjoy the sounds of the trains every day.

Glenn and Louella were members of the Wesleyan Church in Argonia. In 2003, Louella passed away.

Glenn married Fay Brockman-Allen on October 19, 2007 in Wichita, Kansas. They continued living in Argonia by the tracks and had a loving marriage. They attended the Cross Point Free Will Baptist Church in Wichita.

Glenn was also preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Francis, Lloyd and Dwayne; and his son-in-law, Gary Brown.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Fay; his children: Monte Olson and wife, Beverly, Pamela Brown, Debbie Stone and Ed Stringer and wife, Mary; 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
