MAYO, Frances Margaret - Age 85, of Nashville, passed away June 25, 2009. She was a homemaker, and retired Mother's Patrol. Member of the Vine Street Christian Church, Centre Star Order of Eastern Star, and past worthy Matron. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Joseph Mayo; 10 siblings. Survived by son, George Richard (Suzanne) Mayo; daughters, Peggy Mayo (Darrell) Ray; Margaret Mayo Hunt; and Virginia Mayo; grandsons, George Lynn (Leslie) Mayo; Brett Griffin Mayo, and William Scott Hunt; great grandson, Mark Alexander Mayo; beloved family friend, Jean Simpkins; sister in law, Frances Mayo McCullough, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Saturday June 27, 2009, at 12Noon, from the Serenity Chapel of the Mount Olivet Funeral Home with Rev.Thomas Kleinert officiating. Interment in historic Mount Olivet Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Robert Grove, Charlie Dickerson, Brett Mayo, George Lynn Mayo, Scott Hunt, and Mark Mayo. Memorials can be sent to American Cancer Society. Visitation with the family will be today from 2-8PM, and Saturday from 11am until service time in the Acklen Stateroom of the MOUNT OLIVET FUNERAL HOME
