ROBERT C. SQUIER ~ 75, of New Haven died Saturday in Harborside Healthcare Center.
The Ossian native retired in 1983 from Dana Corp. after 38 years. He was a member of Ossian Lodge 297 F&AM, Fraternal Order of Eagles 3164, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2457 and American Legion Post 330.
His first wife, Virginia L., died in 1980. Surviving are his wife, Lavon; son, Keith of New Haven; stepdaughters, Margie Murrow of Phoenix, Rita Puckett, Linda Herrberg, Gloria Ford and Nancy Hopper, all of Fort Wayne, and Mary L. Minnick of Okeechobee, Fla.; stepson, Jon Savieo of New Haven; sister, Zanta Butorac of Searchlight, Nev.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday in E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, New Haven, where calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today, with an Eagles memorial service at 7 p.m. Burial will be with military honors in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Memorials are to charities.
