BAXTER - Funeral services for George Henry Maddux, 85, of Baxter Rt. 1 will be held tomorrow at 2:00 in the chapel of Baxter Funeral Home with Frank Blair officiating. Burial will be in Maddux Elrod
Cemetery.
Mr. Maddux was DOA at Cookeville General Monday following an extensive illness. A native of Putnam County, he was the son of Silas F. and Josephine Wallace Maddux, and a member of the Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Vola Morphew Maddux of Baxter, Rt. 1; a son, Silas Denton Maddux of Baxter Rt. 2; 2 daughters, Josie Margaret Phillips and Reba Bain of Baxter; 8 grandchildren and 20 greatgrandchildren.
