The Evening Times (Cumberland, MD) - Monday, June 11, 1906 under The Mining Region - Frostburg states: Mrs. Arnold, an aged and highly respected lady, died at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Wade on Mechanic street at the ripe old age of 80 years. The remains were conveyed to the residence of her daughter, Mrs. John Smith, on McCulloh street, from which place the deceased was taken to St. Michael's Catholic church, of which she was a member. Interment was made in St. Michael's cemetery at which time a large crowd of sorrowing friends and relatives were gathered. Mrs. John Powers is also a daughter of Mr. Arnold.
