H. Ward Martin, 56, of native of Noble Township, Jay County, died Tuesday morning at the at his home in Kalmazoo, Mich. A resident of Kalamzoo for 20 years, he had been in failing health for six months. He was employed by the Kalamazoo paper.
On March 4 1966, he was married to Dorthea Wood who died Aug. 26, 1941. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Reaver, RR, Portland; Mrs. Hazel Hartzell, W. Main St., Porland, and Mrs. Ethel Flory, RR3, Portland; one brother, Floyd W. Martin, Dayton, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Funeal services are set for Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home, Portland. Kall Ruffner, pastor of the W. Walnut Church of Christ will officite. Burial wll be mde in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m Thursday.
