Mrs. Barrett, 93, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2007, in Neshoba County Nursing Home.
She was a native of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of the Linwood community. She was a retired sewing machine operator for Wells Lamont in Philadelphia. Mrs. Barrett was a member of Linwood Baptist Church and had been active WMU.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Merele Nicholson and Austin Barrett; and one daughter, Ruby Blaine.
Survivors include two daughters, Ann Spears of Union and Martha Miley of Brandon; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Mitchell Cannon, Bobby Cannon, Christopher Parrish, Scott Miley, Tracy Miley and Christopher Dees.
