MARRIAGE: Married: Clauser-Keefer - on the 23rd inst. by Rev. Jacob Sechler, Mr. Benjamin Clauser to Miss Ida Virginia Keefer, both of Adams county. Gettysburg Times. (The Redeemer's Reformed Church of Littlestown was organized August 22, 1859, with forty-five members, by Rev. Jacob Sechler.)

DEATH: Benjamin Clouser male white born Mar. 16, 1855 Adams Co, PA, age 51y 4m 24d, married, father Benedict Clouser born Germany, mother don't know born Germany, cost fence builder, died Aug/Sep 8 1906, seen Aug/Sep 1 to Aug/Sep 7 1906, occlusion of the bowels, 11 days signed E.K. Foreman Littlestown, burial Christ Church Aug/Sep 10 1906, John H. Eline Littlestown, PA. Infor. Ida E. Clouser, Littlestown, PA #87901
(All the August dates appear to have been changed to Sep. dates or from Sep. dates back to August. Mistake was apparently made originally and was corrected later. Obituary Aug 17th obituary proves death was Wed August 8th death date. Also age on Tombstone and death certificate accurately calculates to 51y 4m 23d with same birth date to an August death date not a September one)

OBIT: Benjamin Clouser, of Union township, died last Wednesday morning at 7 o'clock. Death was due to obstruction of the bowel. Deceased was only sick about ten days and was aged 51 years and 4 months. Deceased is survived by a wife and fourteen children. New Oxford Item Publication: 17 Aug 1906 - New Oxford, Pennsylvania
